Summer is upon us! But, before we can receive the shining sun and its wonderful warmth, we must survive the whimsical change of the seasons. Our days of spring are filled with rainy mornings that dry to a warm evening. I remember one day: I wore a warm sweater and a large scarf to battle the icy winds of the morning at school, only to find out at the end of the day it was seventy degrees Fahrenheit. Despite the hindrance of the outfit-making decisions, the bipolar weather has provided us with the best of both worlds; beautiful rainy days that create luscious green forests and trees as well as the warm comfortable afternoons that brighten our days.

For the past couple of weeks, the school has been missing a lot of students. Whether on co-curricular or personal trips, many of us have missed school. With all the sarcasm I can muster, I must say I really love making up homework, school work, and every other kind of work. But! On the positive end of the spectrum, my missed school days have been wonderful days without homework or school stress, so I guess I can man up and do all my homework. Hey, maybe if I do it enough, I might even learn to love homework! (Or get past my hatred of it.)

I LOVE YOU SENIORS. And if that’s not enough to portray my love, I’m going to hug every senior that I see, regardless of whether I know you well or not. Dear beloved Seniors: I’m going to miss you so much! From everything you’ve shown me, taught me, and how you’ve guided me, I really love you guys- even more than pizza, and I really like pizza.
