Animals are being abused all over the world. They are being used for make- up up testing and fur for today's highest fashion. The cruelest thing it has been used for, as far as I know, is testing labs for the atomic bomb during World War II.
It is one thing to use animals for testing, but it is a whole other thing when pet owners beat animals just for the hell of it. It is wrong and it should be stopped. There have been many organizations made to help neglected animals, but it should be a crime to not only beat and kill animals on purpose, but a law against animal testing. Many people believe it is okay to use animals for testing, but they have feelings. The same type of feelings humans have. They have love, joy, and in some very cruel cases, sadness. If these make up companies want to make a new product so bad they just test the right way, and the best way to get great results, is by testing an actual human. What is the worse that can happen to humans testing make up?! A rash? Big deal!

I agree with you animals of all kinds are just as important as humans are. Just because they cant speak does not mean they do not feel pain. People who conduct these test should read more on this and realise the mistakes they are making.
