One reason I'll be relieved when school is over is because I'll be able to read the endless amount of books on my shelf and Kindle. I'll also be able to work on contributing to adding to the lack of LGBT literature that is out there.
The other day I was on a forum and read a topic about LGBT characters in literature. I was curious enough to read as I had thought about the subject many times before. It surprised me how many people like me wished that more LGBT books were available to read.
Some of the more well-known books (ex; Annie On my Mind) are sitting on my bookshelf and waiting to be reread. I haven't found one that I didn't fall in love with. In between my reading, I have sketched out ideas and written out rough drafts. Once I'm free of school I'll have more time to work on these stories, and hopefully one day I will be known as a favorite author to the LGBT community.
