Louisville, KY –  The Trinity Football Rocks wore traditional green jerseys for senior night festivities and warm-ups prior to their district contest against Male at Marshall Stadium on the campus of Trinity High School.

But before they returned to the field for kickoff, they switched to pink jerseys in the locker room in light of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Trinity was one of 10 high schools across the country chosen by Adidas to wear the jerseys to raise awareness.  Several student-athletes are related to family members who have battled the disease.

Trinity head coach Bob Beatty said he was approached by Adidas last spring with the idea and agreed to accept the offer to help raise awareness.
