The new teen sensation, One Direction, has released its second album, “Take Me Home” and it’s already topping charts.

The UK boy band has been taking over magazine covers, television shows, and commercials ever since the release of its first album, “Up All Night” in late 2011, which included the hit “What Makes You Beautiful”.

Since their last album went platinum and won countless awards, there’s no doubt that this new one will receive the same recognition because of their appeal, particularly with the teen crowd.

Following the first album’s release, One Direction toured and performed at sold out shows. The group captured the hearts of people around the world and their success exploded.

Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik all tried out for the UK version of “X-Factor” and originally auditioned as solo artists. Producer Simon Cowell thought that they would be better as a group and they became known as One Direction.

They finished third on the show and they thought that that was the end of the road, but Cowell couldn’t let them walk away, and soon signed the boys to his label, Syco Records.

As a huge fan the way that they sound together and get along show how dedicated they are. You can really tell that they put their heart and soul into every song.

The new album consists of upbeat tunes and some slow songs. One slow song included in the album “Little Things”, was written by fellow British artist Ed Sheeran. “Little Things” is about, how if you love someone enough you can love them even if they’re not perfect. This song has a lot more feelings in it, each and every one of One Direction has a solo, and girls of all ages can relate to it.

Another song that’s already a hit is “Live While Were Young”. This song can relate to anyone, emphasizing on how important it is to take advantage of your youth. It’s one of their faster songs, and had the most views in 24 hours on VEVO.

One song that’s sure to become a big hit is “I Would”. It’s one of their upbeat songs and it’s about how they would treat a love interest better then someone else is treating them now.   The only song in the whole album that isn’t as great as the others is “Over Again”. But once you get past the cheesy opening, it’s just as good as the others.
“Take Me Home” has been anticipated by many fans ever since they had announced the Nov. 13 release date. But it was streamed a week before to give fans a preview. One Direction really kept up with everyone’s expectations and the new album is even better than what people imagined.
