PHOENIX, ARIZONNA- February 4, 2013, 32-year-old Jodi Arias is being convicted of themurder of her 30-year-old “on-again off-again”(FOX NEWS) boyfriend, TravisAlexander.

Afterfinding out Travis’s plan to take a trip to New Mexico with another woman, Jodifelt that this was all the motivation she needed.

Jodi savagelystabbed Travis, slit his throat from ear to ear, and then shot him with the gunshe had stolen from her grandparents.

Inher defense however, she blamed it on a series of unfortunate childhood events.At the early age of seven-years-old, Jodi was abused by her parents. Herpunishments often included the use of belts, wooden spoons, being shoved, orslapped. In her teen years, Jodi told tales of cheating and abusive boyfriends.

Thoughdefense attorneys have tried to portray Travis Alexander as a “liar and cheat” (FOX NEWS)unwilling to commit to one woman, they are still on edge as to what Jodi’s truemotives were. Questions have arisen regarding Jodi’s motives for trying toclean and clear the crime scene.
