Many people hang out with football players but others really do not know anything about them. In ways, the people that do not hang out with football players are quite similar to those that do play football.

After football practice, Colton Glover said he usually goes over to his girlfriend, Chaney’s house. People just like Colton have girlfriends or boyfriends that hang out together. Even though some of the people do not play sports and do not have practice, they still would hang out after school or on the weekends.

“Most of the football players have jobs to go to on the weekends so we either do that or cut grass,” said Brian Hegle. Jobs are very important to some of the students at Lee County High School because with out that, some students would not have the money to pay for vehicles to drive. There is also another similarity to people who do not play sports, even though during the week football players practice for the Friday night games, come Saturday, they have to work just like anyone else would.

Xavier Edwards says he usually spends most of his time at church or at home doing yard work when he is not at school. As a football player, there is much more to go through than what people would think. Not only school and football being two of their main priorities, football players also have to do chores at home like any other student at LCHS would.

Someone might think they would not have much fun having work or doing practice all the time, but according to Danny McCray, when he wants to have fun, he either hunts, talks on the phone, goes fishing or stays on the computer. Having fun is one of the best parts of life so if you do not have fun, there is no point in living.
