On Tuesday April 15 the Shallowater Fillies played against the River Road Wildcats for their first playoff game. The Fillies started out at a good pace. They were going strong with few mistakes and making the score go higher and higher. In one inning the Wildcats scored some points to catch up to the Fillies. On the Fillies last turn to bat they scored more points and the end score was 11-13. The Fillies won their first playoff game. The last out was a popfly hit in the foul line nearest the third baseman, Julie Tarter, who caught the ball. The trophy that the team got was received by Jyl Dick the only senior on the team. The Fillies are playing sometime next week. Date and times are unknown.
