Every person who has not been living under a rock for the past five years has probably heard of a few of the more common rock festivals, tours, and benefit concerts. The most well known of those tours is Vans Warped Tour which it getting ready to launch its 14th summer tour. Others are Ozzfest, Lollapalooza, Taste of Chaos, Projekt Revolution, and many more.

Here is a question for you… which is the best tour? According to the poll (below), Ozzfest is the best summer concert to see. Ozzfest was formed by the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osborne. Formed in 1996 Ozzfest is an outlet for many types of music, including any type of hard rock and any type of metal. Although a rather rocky history to the tour, this concert is one of the better ones. Unfortunately, Ozzfest, usually a summer concert leading into late October may not be a tour this year. Ozzy and Sharon Osborne are considering making it a two-day event in San Antonio, Texas.

Vans Warped Tour that comes in a close second is the tour to see this summer. With so many different bands it is the tour to see (if you want to stay close to home). Some of the headlining bands are The Academy is…, Angels and Airwaves, The Devil Wears Prada, Every Time I Die, and many, many more. (For full band list go to www.warpedtour.com)

As for the rest of the summer tours, Lollapalooza, and Projekt Revolution. They are amazing concerts, but there is just too much to say about them. Even the tours mentioned there is so much left to say about them. All there is left to say is They Will Rock You!
