Freshman Dylan Severson is the son of Jeff and Kathie Severson. He is not currently involved in any activities at the high school or otherwise, but is going to start SKILLS U.S.A. Dylan likes to hunt and fish and his favorite movie is “‘Good Luck Chuck’ because it is really funny.” His advice for other students is “Do your homework.”
Eryn Johnson, sophomore, is the daughter of Ray and Kristen Johnson. She is involved in DECA, golf, softball, and basketball. She is not sure what she’d like to do for a career, but she would like to go to UW-Madison or the University of Minnesota. She has plans to become a family practitioner. Eryn’s favorite book is “Harry Potter” and the “Twilight” series, and her favorite movie is “P.S. I Love You.” She advises other students to “be involved in as many things as possible. It’s a great way to meet new people and make long lasting memories.”
Tyler Duggan (junior) is the son of Dave and Dawn Duggan. He isn’t involved in any activities other than washing windows in the summer, “but that isn’t really ‘fun’.” His plan for after high school is to get some sort of degree at Western Technical College. His favorite book is “StormBreaker” by Anthony Horowitz “because of the characters in the story.” He thinks the movie “Iron Man” is “an awesome movie.” Tyler has traveled to Hawaii, Aruba, Mexico, Guatemala and Puerto Rico. He advises other students to use the “Golden Rule- Treat others how you’d like to be treated.”
Megan Brevik, senior and daughter of Charles and Pamela Brevik, is involved in many things. These include National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, One by One, Jazz Band, Snowboard/Ski Club, and Quiz Bowl. After high school, she will go to UW-Madison this fall to major in Medical Science. After UW-M, she would like to go to a medical school to become a cardiovascular surgeon. She enjoys Khaled Hosseini’s book “A Thousand Splendid Suns” because “it brings forth a story from a different cultural perspective.” Her advice for other students is “Get involved in a variety of activities because they make high school memorable, and you get to meet new people you otherwise wouldn’t have.”
