Hi All,

I wanted to share with you the kindness and support that James and his soldiers are receiving from the children of the Middlesex Valley Elementary School.  The project is headed by Kim Carr, a teacher in the school, that is dedicated to teaching the students how to support our brave soldiers that are fighting overseas.  It has become a school-wide project that the teachers, the parents, and most importantly the children have embraced.  Attached you will find the “Just One” flyer that is sent home with the children.  The object of the program is for each child to donate “just one” item to have shipped over to our soldiers in Iraq to make their life easier in an already rough situation.  They have had a poster contest and who knows where they will go with this project!  It is so heart-warming to know that even though a majority of the families in the United States are not directly influenced by the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, some people are still willing to make an impact to show the soldiers and their families the respect and support they deserve for all of the sacrifices they make to serve this nation.

My thanks go out to Kim Carr and the faculty and students of Middlesex Valley Elementary school for putting their effort and thoughts into such an awe-inspiring project.  All of this would not have even occurred if it weren’t for my best friend Kim Wager!  Kim has been my best friend for so long and when she heard about this project, she immediately volunteered James and his soldiers.  Thanks to both Kims. James and his soldiers appreciate this more than anyone could ever know.

I will continue to bring you updates on the “Just One” project as I receive them.

I hope you are all well and continue to keep James and his soldiers in your hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

Take care,

Sarah
