Hobbies from Mild to Wild
As time passes, some people are plagued with nothing to do in their spare time. Fortunately, many students and teachers have some kind of hobby to attend to. Many kids at Colusa High enjoy doing such things as text messaging on their phones and listening to their favorite music.
What defines somebody’s hobby is what that person likes to do. When asked about what a hobby means to them, many students simply said, “Something that is fun and that I would enjoy.” When asked about her hobby, Colusa High senior Kelsie Kieley stated, “I like art. My favorite type of art is definitely plastering!”
Not everybody enjoys indoor hobbies.Instead, some like to get out and do something. English teacher Matt Giffin commented, “I love to go riding on my new 02 Honda XR250 dirt bike, it just lets me get out there to enjoy the fun things in life.” Science teacher Dave Driffill stated, “If you know me, you obviously know that duck hunting is my favorite hobby. To me, it is a way of life.”
Many people throughout the world enjoy doing things away from the dreaded routine. From students text messaging to a teacher’s adrenaline rush of riding their dirt bike, everyone should have some type of hobby that is interesting .From mild to wild, hobbies not only help us through stress, but help us all to be unique individuals.
