The team ended up 4-4 for the season. Freshman Jamie Bolig was one of the pitchers for the team. She said that she enjoyed the season. She said this year was not what she expected because she thought they would have the opportunity to play more games. The best part of her season was being able to pitch again. Bolig said that one thing she would have done differently is to be able to pitch the entire season. Overall, Bolig said, "The season was exciting, and the team improved a lot.” Her favorite team to play this year was West Perry. She believes that overall the team improved on their fielding ability the most.
Sophomore McKenzy McAlister claimed that the season was fun for the most part. She said this season was what she expected because she never really expected to be the best. Also, most of the team was freshman and it was a learning experience for them. The best part of her season was being able to watch everybody improve from start to finish. McAlister said she wishes she would have “gotten out of my slump sooner.” Overall, McAlister thought the season was fun but also a learning experience. Her favorite team she played this year was West Perry because it was one of the best games that the team had played. She thought the team improved the most on both fielding and batting.
