The ACT (American College Testing) is a strenuous, important test that college-bound students take when in the eleventh grade.   The ACT is  universally accepted for college admission in the United States.  It has multiple choice tests that are curriculum based.

For Jackson, Michigan ACT centers are Jackson High School, Lumen Christi High School and Northwest High School.  The dates for Saturday National Testing are December 11, 2010; April 9, 2011 and June 11, 2011.  The dates for Non-Saturday National Testing day are Thursday-Friday, April 7-8, 2011 and Sunday-Monday, April 10-11, 2011.

Tips for Taking the ACT:

        1. Read the instructions and questions carefully
2. Take your time but don’t take too much time on one question
3.
Answer all questions
4. Don’t guess on questions that you don’t know
        5. If you complete a test before the time is up, go back and check your answers

This is bad advice. You can guess without penalty on the ACT, so it'd be to a test-takers advantage to at least guess on every single question.
