A 1940's Jeep -

The fashion in the 1940’s were suits and hourglass dresses. One popular suit was the zoot suit. It was wide-legged, high-waisted, tight-cuffed, pegged-trousers, and a long coat with padded shoulders. The top hat was also popular.
For leisure time in the 1940’s, people watched T.V. or listened to music. T.V. was exciting because it had just came out, and the pictures moved. Music was also popular, because it was easy to dance to. Football was also a popular sport. In one NFL championship, the Chicago Bears beat the Redskins, 73-0.
Many things were invented in the 1940’s. The color T.V. were invented in 1940, the jeep was invented in 1940, the slinky was invented in 1943, the atomic bomb was invented in 1945, and the microwave oven was invented in 1946. The war accelerated some of these things when we were looking for a technological advantage over our enemies.
