(Waverly, OH)  Friday, Sept 24th,  Waverly's football team played a home game against Ashland, KY, and the Eastern High School Marching Band was invited to attend and perform with the Waverly High School Marching Band for their halftime show. This was a historic event for Eastern's band because it was the first time they had ever played on a football field.

Eastern's marching band had been working very hard over the last couple of weeks on the halftime show, and they learned many new maneuvers. Band members learned the important formations needed in order to draw and maintain the attention of the Waverly fans. Eastern band members practiced with the Waverly band at Eastern so that both bands could perform smoothly together.
