Monkey bar Incident

Tatijane Whatley is a young girl going to Olympus. Everything seemed to be going fine for Tatijane Whatley until the accident happened. Unfortunately she was playing on the monkey bars one day when she suddenly fell and severely injured her neck. The ambulance came and it looked pretty bad. She was wearing a neck brace and looked in pain. The next day she shows up to school seeming perfectly fine. I wondered what her story was and I got myself an interview.

“Tatijane, yesterday you looked like you broke your neck and now you are here at school... what happened?”  

“Well, when I thought I broke my neck and was being carried away on a stretcher I heard my grandpa talking to me. Then I passed out.” 

“What actually happened to your neck?”

“I thought I broke it, but when the doctor came in and told me I twisted it really bad, it took a load off my mind.” 

“How long were you in the hospital?”

“I was in the hospital until 12:00 pm and then I was allowed to leave.”
“Do you feel fortunate that you didn’t break your neck?”

“I felt very lucky that I didn’t die from it. I know for a fact that I am going to be way more careful on the monkey bars.” 

“Were you surprised that you were allowed to leave the hospital that quickly?”

“Sort of, I mean I just stayed in the hospital for at least 11 hours which was pretty fast.”

“Why?”

“Well, because to get an x-ray, then to rush me to the hospital, and then to wait for the results of the x-ray. All of that stuff takes time and they did it pretty quickly.”

There you have it. Tatijane was released from the hospital the next day and was seen at school. This just goes to show that playing on the monkey bars can be a very dangerous problem like in Tatijane situation. Out of all of this Tatijane learned a lesson to not hang upside down of the bars and that she probably learned to be way more careful. Now we know how fast the hospital is when it comes to a patient.
