Back to school, same teachers, same kids, same everything. But for some students of PMHS the same can’t be said. I had a chance to interview a few new students of PMHS and find out where they come from and what they think of their new school. Brandon Powers; a Senior and varsity football player from Oregon is a good friend of mine who moved to Pennsville over the summer. He participates in wrestling, baseball, and football and enjoys the warm friendly environment Pennsville has to offer.
I also had a chance to speak with Jessica Irwin, a new girl to the Junior class. She was born in New York, but went to Glasgow High School in Delaware. She enjoys playing basketball and from the look at her lunch table, she seems to really be enjoying her time at PMHS.
There are a handful of new kids to our school and I believe they all enjoy the PMHS experience. If I didn’t know any better I would have thought they were born and raised in Pennsville. But regardless, its common courtesy go up and introduce yourself. You never know, you may make a friend!
