The Mount Olive High School Gay-Straight Alliance will be hosting two presentations by The Trevor Project on Tuesday, January 10th. The first presentation will be geared toward the MOHS students, faculty, and staff and will begin at 2:30. The second presentiation will begin at 6:00 and is geared toward parents and community members. Each presentation follows a workshop format
The Trevor Project is an organization dedicated to helping LGBTQ youth in crisis. They provide workshops for students, teachers, and parents with the goals of education and prevention. Recently, The Trevor Project has launced a new campaign, the “Talk to Me” campaign which encourages youth who are struggling to speak up. Watch a PSA here: http://youtu.be/gH2t5P6CGZo
