“I’m extremely excited to see us growing and moving up,” eight grader Caroline Gore says when asked about the bright future of Christian Academy, “I know we will enjoy the new facility.” The Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach has recently purchased land off of Forestbrook Road. “The location is central, and I think that will attract more people as well,” Caroline Gore says. This location is in the middle of many students. This young school draws people from all over. When high school teacher, Mica Pruitt was asked about an independent building she responded, “I think that having a place of our own will benefit us.” The school is hoping to attract more families and draw in people of all ages. “We are growing and we have outgrown First Baptist (the current location) and need a new place that will let us grow even more,” says Pruitt. When asked about what was most exciting from the viewpoint of a student, Gore responded, “I like the idea of showing off a nice building as my new school. I also want more people in my grade. I think that by having a nice place as our own, we will attract more people.” Pruitt added, “I want my own room. That is what is most exciting to me.” The school has broken ground and building will start soon, the Christian Academy is looking forward to a big, bright future! Good Luck!
