Twice in one week children have been left behind at Chuck E. Cheese restaurants. This past Thursday, a 5-year-old girl that was celebrating her birthday with family members was left at a Chuck E. Cheese in Southern Texas. The staff members of the restaurant saw her when they were closing at 10:30 p.m. and tried to get a hold of her mother who was nine other children, but she didn't answer until the next morning. Earlier in the week, a 3 year-old girl was left behind at a Chuck E. Cheese in Maryland. Her parents didn't realize she was missing until they saw an alert run across their TV screen several hours later while at their home. ” the little girl had an extra token and ran back into the building to use her extra token and everyone had left thinking that someone else had her” stated a Local law enforcement officer. These are not the only two cases of this. ABC news has found 3 more cases of this event taking place all over the country in the last year.
