The competitive cheerleaders were off to a great start this season. They have come very far this year and have won many competitions. They continued to excel throughout this season even with a young team. Senior, Amanda Reynolds said "We have really improved a lot over the season."

Mandie Causie and Sherri Luce have worked very hard on all three rounds to lead these girls to victory. Many of their stunts, flips, and splits are hard to do and everyone works very hard to make these moves perfect.

There are three rounds to show off all of their different skills. Round one is filled with arm movements and jumps. Round two focuses more on skills, doing toe touches, back walk over's, heel stretches, and switch splits. Round three is more elaborate and is all about stunting.

The cheer team has won two competitions, at Dalton Kellogg and Morenci. This is such a great accomplishment for our competitive cheer program. The team is fourth in the conference. They have a few more competitions left including the Conference and District competitions. Go cheer them on and support the team!
