The Hunger Games Leaves Fans Hungry For Sequel

Have you ever wondered what our future will be like, or ever thought we would be in competitions to survive and for food? If our future revolves around surviving for food, killing people, our future will be just like the movie The Hunger Games.

The 2012 action movie was directed by Gary Ross. The Hunger Games is rated PG-13 and is approximately 142 minutes long. Jennifer Lawrence, who also played in Like Crazy, is Katniss in the movie. Katniss is a 16 year old girl who volunteered herself to be in the the Hunger Games. Josh Hutcherson, who also played in Bridge to Terbithia and Journey to the Center of the Earth played a part in the movie. Liam Hemsworth, who also played in The Last Song, was one of the other tributes.

In the future, as North America went downhill because of major forest fires and drought, a little game called The Hunger Games was created. The Hunger Games is a television show in which 24 participants fight and kill for food and fame. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected to participate in the harsh game. When the drawling for Dictrict 12 was done Peeta (Hutcherson) and Katniss's sister was selected. Katniss volunteered herself to go into the games. Through love, friendship, and enemies the 24 players begin The Hunger Games.

The Hunger Games setting was fantastic. The characters and the actors were great. The actors made the movie enjoyable and made the movie a lot better. There was a lot of drama and fighting. Some of the costumes were amazing but outrageous. The soundtrack went along with the movie, which made the movie enjoyable.

The Hunger Games was over all amazing. If you would like to see The Hunger Games you can get your tickets from Fandango.com  and Bing Movies. The Hunger Games is also a book. The movie went along with the book. You can buy the book basically at any  book store. The movie should not be recommended to anyone under the age of 13. There was also of fighting and drama in the movie. Children could get frightened by it. If you're looking for a good action movie check out The Hunger Games.
