While the end of the school year approaches, especially for those who are seniors, things may begin to slip. My advice: just don't let it happen. That’s all I can say. It’s the worst possible thing anyone can do; once slacking starts, it’s like a disease that just grows and grows. I, myself, am a prime example.
My friends tend to tell me that I am a pro at procrastinating, and if it were a job, I would be rich... I only wish. Honestly I’ve never had too much of a problem with it, up until now. I have buried myself so deep, and when unseemly events occur, then those things that were pushed off end up not being completed. Granted certain complications have arisen…
There is no real excuse to not finishing assignments on time. As a student, it’s a job to do work and cooperate with the deadlines. How would a boss react if a task wasn’t completed on time? Or even a professor in college? Not many will put up with it--people get fired, or classes are failed when things aren't done on time and correctly.
School is a job, but a job that is for one’s own benefit; only what’s put in can be taken out. Finish out the year strong, like Mr. Baker says.
