Last night on May 15, 2012 San Francisco Giant Tim “The Freak” Lincecum battled against Colorado Rockie pitcher Jeremy Guthrie. Despite a loss for the Giants of 5-4 it was a well played ball game for both teams considered. From the look of it, Timmy seems to be getting more into the swing of things then he has been lately, which is good for the Giants Clubhouse and all Freak fans! During the fourth inning Guthrie threw a 93 mph fastball to third baseman Joaquin Arias which then hit him right on the wrist resulting in Arias being taken out for the rest of the game. Replacing Arias in the game would then be second baseman player Emmanuel Burriss, a position relatively new for Burriss where he did not catch a pop up allowing a base hit for the Rockies.
Last night’s starting lineup for the Giants included: Blanco-right fielder, Belt- first baseman, Cabrera-right field, Posey-catcher, Pagan- center fielder, Arias- third baseman (later switched with Burriss), Crawford- shortstop, Burriss- second baseman and starting pitcher Tim Lincecum.
The Giants are having a somewhat hard time this season but despite all that, they have some very dedicated fans! Tonight the Giants will be playing the Cardinals, tune and see the outcome.
