The Hunger Games is the big buzz right now, and was released on March 23rd of this year.

 Considering that the book was published in 2008, the movie then trailed after. In response some say the movie is better than the book.

Most viewers were surprised by one of the female characters. In the book she was described as a Caucasian girl with long blonde hair, along with blue eyes. She appeared to be an African-American female in the movie; it throws off the fans.

The movie and book were both very intense in a way that the characters were playing a game for their lives. Even though the kids were putting their life on the line as well, they had not chosen to do so. If they hadn’t agreed to with completing in the games they would be punished severely.

If they didn’t play they would be forced to forfeit their lives.

Diamond Johnson is a fan of The Hunger Games and has watched the movie and has read the book. According to Johnson the main character, Katniss, was doing “outstanding through out the movie.” After a few deaths of Katniss’ friends during the game, she finds someone she can trust named Peeta. In the end they almost both end up dying until the rules were changed and they could both win.
