Despite the fact the Lady Knights lost by 30 points to A.B. Miller Friday, January 5, they were determined to take that loss out on all the teams they play. They did just that! On Tuesday, January 8th at 6:00 pm in Fontana’s gym, the Lady Knights couldn’t wait to take their loss against A.B. Miller out on the Fontana, Lady Steelers.

“The loss to A.B Miller was hard to deal with because we could have played more as team,” Knight, Ashley Williams said.

Right from the Big tip-off, the Lady Knights were hungry for the ball. They played tremendous defense, from stealing the ball to fighting in the key to get the rebound. They executed their offense to their best, and didn’t give the Lady Steelers any possible chance to steal the ball for a fast break.

“We executed our defense and offense to the fullest,” Rudi Romo explained.

The Lady Knights put it in their minds that they were going come out to play as a team, and at the end of the game they would have the victory.

Coach Goodloe was so proud of his girls that he only one thing to say about his players after the game.

“My girls played a heck of game against Fohi, and they executed their plays to the fullest,” he said.

The Lady Knights are preparing for their next two games. They play Redlands East Valley on Thursday, January 11 and Yucaipa on Friday, January 12.
