Vintage cars, long hair, and G’Schnatzlets? These are the loves of seventh grade history teacher, Mr.Rajadhyaksha. He is probably one of the most interesting teachers here at RSM. He even admits to being weird. Most people know him by his blue barracuda and his long and dark hair, but is there more to him? We sat down with him a few days ago to learn about his talents, hobbies, interest, and much more!!!
His name is Rajesh Rajadhyaksha. He was born in California and grew up in Mission Viejo. Mr. Rajadhyaksha originally wanted to be a journalist, but he ended up taking a really good history class, which sparked an interest in teaching this subject. Mr. Rajadhyaksha attended Cal State Long Beach, and has been teaching since 2003. He has also taught at Mission Viejo High.

(SS) What do you like to do outside of school?
(R) “There’s life outside of school! HAHAHAHA! I like to play video games and play around with my car.”
(SS) How would you describe the perfect day?
(R) “Um… Summer vacation, when there is a nice breeze and it is not really hot.”
(SS) Do you like sports? If so, what is your favorite one and team?
(R) “I only like weird sports like paintball and badminton.”
(SS) Everyone talks about your car. Can you tell us about it?
(R) “It’s a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda and I love driving a little piece of history. I also own a 1971 Chevy Chevelle.”
(SS) What is your favorite food?
(R) “Pizza by pure volume and for actual love of the food, I would say G’Schnatzlets.” That is a German chicken dish.
(SS) Do you have any special talents? If so explain.
(R) “I can make a walkie talkie noise.”(Laughs)
(SS) If you could have any super power, what would it be?
(R) “Um, (looks at ceiling) I would want to be like Peter from the show Heroes. He has the power to borrow other people’s power.”
(SS) What would you do with a million dollars?
(R) “I would invest half of it and take the rest to purchase a house.”
(SS) Name one person dead or alive you would want to have lunch with?
(R) “Umm, that’s a really tough question. (Thinks to himself) … I am going to sound really cheesy but I would want to have lunch with Gandhi because he learned to make peace with so many different people. “
(SS) Describe your wardrobe.
(R) (Laughs loudly) I like to think that I have an outfit or “costume” for every occasion.
(SS) What is your favorite song?
(R) (Thinks while looking at the ceiling) “I can’t really decide on one favorite since I like so many different types of music.”
(SS) Some of us know that you talk in many different languages. Which one do you like doing the most?
(R) “I like the ones that crack people up and for my mom, the German accent.”
(SS) “If you could star in any movie or T.V show, past or present, what would it be?”
(R) “I would want to be in the show, Battlestar Galactica. That show is soooooooo good.”
(SS) “If you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be and why?”
(R) “I would want a T-Rex. I could just slap a saddle on that thing and ride it to school!”
(SS) “What is your favorite T.V show(s)?”
(R) “Umm, (pause) there is probably two; Heroes and Battlstar Galactica.”
(SS)” Do you have any final thoughts you would like to share with us?”
(R) (Fidgets with chair) “ I am going to be completely random and say Tuesday, bubblegum, rutabaga. (laughs)”
