Paramore ends tour on a high notes at the Honda Center in Anaheim. -

“No one is as lucky as us,” Hayley Williams sang to arena of screaming fans. On September 19, 2010, the famous band “Paramore” performed at the Honda Civic Center. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the band, I’ll fill you in; Jeremy plays the rhythm guitar, Zack rocks out on the drums, Josh is on the lead guitar, Taylor strums the bass guitar, and, of course, Hayley Williams sings! Many fans think of famous people as conceited, and that they simply put on an act when in public. But after Paramore’s performance, I was convinced that they genuinely were down to earth. Whenever too many people were sitting down, they roused the crowd until more than half the stadium was on their feet! Therefore, I’d say that they’re very energetic and interactive with the audience. This continued all night long. Every member of the audience was on their feet, singing the lyrics very loudly, at one point or another. Many concerts are like that. But this was an even better concert; each person’s eagerness spread throughout the crowded arena and built into high expectations for Paramore. They achieved the maximum peak due to the fact that everyone left singing with smiles on their faces, wishing the music would carry on longer and that the night would stretch on. That’s just how fantastic of a night they had! Not only did they want people to feel comfortable with standing up and singing, they wanted the crowd to feel at home. So they did a crazy thing: they brought out a couch! It was the same design couch that Hayley has in her living room, so she felt right at home! The band all sat on it and brought out the acoustic instruments. I have to admit that it’s weird, but it’s amazing how the workers brought out the couch so fast! The music was upbeat the whole time, even with the slow acoustic songs. Excitement rose when they played their favorite songs and made the songs seem even happier! The best part was when Hayley and the others started to get into the beat! Hayley started flinging her hair around (her signature move), Zack kept in time with his drum playing, the guitar players rocked back and forth and moved up until they were up near Hayley, and Taylor ran around the stage while he played! This proves that they are all music fanatics and very enthusiastic! I’m guessing they like to stay in touch with their musical side everyday! Hayley also got in touch with her country side and while the couch was being heaved in, she sang a frequently sung song from her hometown (Nashville, Tennessee): “You Ain’t Woman Enough to Take My Man.” Now we know where all of her musical side came from! The concert was filled with everybody’s favorite songs but then they ended the show. The lights dimmed but didn’t come back on, signaling the audience that the two songs they’d all been waiting for would be performed: Brick by Boring Brick and Misery Business! Then they picked a teenager from the crowd to sing the end with them! They asked him what talents he had, and he said to stand back. Then he took a bounding step and did 3 flips in a row! An excellent ending! The show finally was complete. In the end, the show was as good as everyone had hoped for and a great experience for all! I’d recommend a Paramore concert for anyone, especially if you’ve never been to one. Rock on!
