On December 27, 2008, in Los Angeles, California nineteen eighteen year old girls became full-fledged debutants. These girls had been planning this event for a very long time and had been excitedly looking forward to it. The Blanc Ball de Noel took place at the Omni Hotel. All nineteen of the debutants wore beautiful white gowns (some even wedding dresses) and gloves. They had their hair and make-up professionally done so that they would look their best. The ballroom was in immaculate shape, looking absolutely gorgeous.
When it was time to adjourn to the ceremony, each girl was introduced as she walked in with her father and audience members heard their whole biography. Then, they walked around with their father while their life story was being read and then accepted a breath-taking necklace to show that they had finished and were now officially debutants. Then, after each of the beauties was presented, we ate dinner and spend the rest of the night socializing and dancing on the dance floor with all of the 400 guests that attended. The ball was a good experience for me, and I enjoyed being a part of the final product.
