Burton snowboards were invented by Jake Burton Carpenter. The factory is located in Burlington, Vermont. If you would ask any professional snowboarder, they are probably using a Burton snowboard—one of the most famous brands of snowboards out there.

How did he stumble upon this great idea? He started out with a board called the “Snurfer” which was a wooden board with a rope to control it. Then he started to work with a different style of board. That was what gave him the snowboard we now know.

What makes these snowboards so great? Quality and precision while building the snowboards is what makes these so great; also, they last forever! I have had mine for over four years now.

However, there is some dissenting opinion. Some girls feel that these snowboards are just a bit too manly, “They are really heavy for smaller girls and some designs are meant more for boys,” says Victoria K.

The real test is how well they ride. No other snowboard competes with the precision, speed, agility, and weight of this snowboard. That’s what makes them so great. So, Burton snowboards aren’t possibly the best snowboards, they are.
