On January 5, the students at Northwestern Middle School arrived back at school after their two week holiday vacation. They have come with some of their new toys and electronics such as cell phones and Ipods that they bring with them from class to class. However, some students have been getting in trouble with the principal for bringing these items to their classrooms and using them during class. When confiscated, they cannot get their electronics back either until the end of the day, or possibly by the end of the year. Specific names cannot be shared to the public; however, at least 13 students had their Ipods and cell ph ones taken on their first day back at school.
So, if you wish to keep your electronics and toys, I suggest that you do one of two things. Either leave them at home, or leave them secure in your locker. (Make sure that you haven’t given your locker combination out to anyone.) However, you can also take them to your classes, but make sure you are not caught using them during class time or they will be taken away!
