What does having courage really mean?
Sometimes true courage is not always seen.
True courage is standing up for what is right,
Even when the bigger people give you quite a fright.
Having courage does not mean you are not afraid,
Sometimes of what others have said.
It means that whatever comes your way, 
Even though you may struggle someday, 
You can face your problems and become stronger.
Even though the days seem to get longer and longer.
A person with true courage can handle things without showing their fear
Even when the thing they fear is very near.
Having courage is to be you,
It also means to always speak what is true
no matter what the cost to you.
Sometimes we have to face our biggest fears,  
Usually they are not as bad as they appear.
This is something I am still learning this year.
I have many of my own fears,
Thunder,lightning,and spiders ,are just some, 
Fear can be very hard to overcome. 
But having true courage is a wonderful thing, 
And there is a lot of joy that it can bring.
