At the Fountain Hills Charter School, Mr. Gary’s 4th grade class had a play, called Macbeth. The play was about MacBeth (Scott) and The Three Witches’ (Elyse, McKenzie, and Kiri) prophecy, that he would one day become king. When he tells his wife, Lady MacBeth (Gabrielle), she rushes him to murder the King Duncan (Adin), then Lord Banquo (Nicholas), then Lady MacDuff. Soon Lady MacBeth, full of sorrow, ran to the tall tower and fell. The king’s son, Prince Malcolm (Anthony) came with his friends and killed MacBeth.
The class had worked very hard and it showed off. One reason was that the narrators, Gillian and Serena, did a very good job at explaining what happened. Also, the set they made was very detailed. It was a very good play and I enjoyed watching it.
“Mr. Gary’s class has been working very hard and it showed. All the students remembered their lines and performed wonderfully. It was exciting and enjoyable.”
Ms. M, art, Spanish, and tech teacher, said after watching the performance. We all enjoyed watching this well put-together play.
