The Celebrations of the Fallen Soldiers



The holiday has passed, but everyone still remembers what they did for it. Whether they went on a picnic, Knotts’ Berry Farm, or even going to the Strawberry Festival, we celebrate the holiday and the soldiers that died for our country. This is what some people did for Memorial Day.

Sharon Diep-”For my Memorial weekend, I stayed home with my friend Hetty on the computer. When we got hungry, we went to In-N-Out and then headed back to my house.”

Mike Nguyen-”I celebrated both Memorial Day and my sister’s birthday by going to a Chinese restuarant.”

Katherine Vu-”I ate sour cherries all day during Memorial Day, but got a stomachache in th middle of the night.”

Alex Nguyen-”I went cherrypicking at a place where you cold pick your own cherries.”

Gabriel Frutos-”I played Maplestory all day and night long for my holiday.”

Thuan Ly-”I played Guitar Hero on my PS2.”

Now you can see what some people did for Memorial Day. You may not have done these things, but you still did somthing. It all celerates the people who died bravely to make our country the way it is now.
