The scorching sun blazes directly overhead. Summer is coming soon! It’s finally time for some fun in the sun! However, some Jordan students are sad to leave their school so soon. Some Jaguars are feeling a little nervous about the coming year, especially eighth graders.Come on, it’s time to face the world.

Everyone has their opinions about summer. However, most people in Jordan are glad that summer is coming. According to a survey including many Jordan Jaguars, 87% of the people are glad that summer is here. However, only 13% of the students are dreading summer. Most students who said yes can’t wait for it to be summer because they need a rest from school. The students who said no don’t want school to end because they would be leaving their friends. Majority of the people who said no were eighth graders.

About 75% of the students think that summer will be fun. They get to stay home and go places. Of course, there’s also no studying. It’s time to close those books and have some fun! However, 25% of the students interviewed won’t be having so much fun. They’ll be missing their friends during the summer, and of course they will be worrying about what’ll happen next year. Some students think that summer will be very boring because they have nothing to do.

Although some people will miss their friends, we should still have some fun. Summer should be a time when we rest our brains to get ready for next year. Next year will be a new and exciting year for many students, so be prepared and rest up! Remember, today is a gift which is why it’s called the present. Keep up the good work Jaguars!
