It’s June 1st, all the seventh graders are anxious to get their ballots for the future of next year’s dances and activities. Did you guess what the ballots are for? Well if you haven’t guessed, it’s the 2007- 2008 asb selections. The future of next year is in the hands of the seventh graders.

There was a tough election this year. Many students were running for many different things. There are many categories for asb officers including president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, activities commissioner, school site council, historian, and technology. All of those offices are open to all seventh graders.

The current asb advisor and the advisor for 2007-2008 asb is Mrs. Kirksey. She is in charge of all asb activities, and also counting the ballots for the votes. She will get those winners posted as soon as possible.

The new asb officers were elected on June 1st and Jordan Intermediate has its new officers! These new officers are planning to make Jordan Intermediate 2007-2008 the best one yet!

The winners are:

President- Julie Dang & Jenny Nguyen

Vice President- Andrew Phomvongsa

Secretary- Tina Ho

Treasurers- Michelle Nguyen & Stephanie Ngo

Historian- Jasmine Tran

Activities Commissioner- Sandy Tonnu & Nicole Nguyen

Technology- Adriane Santos

School Site Councils- Dalena Huynh & Angelica Santos

New Vice President, Andrew Phomvongsa said,” Feels awesome to win something especially asb!”
