Super Smash Bros. Brawl
By: Robert Leseth and Patrick Lee
Rated: T
This multiplayer action game on the Wii features a wide variety of Nintendo’s all star cast that all have their own set of special moves that you choose from and either fight against the Subspace Emissary in adventure mode, classic mode, or you can brawl against up to 3 other friends or a computer player as you try to knock their character off the screen in multiplayer mode.
The cool feature in this game that makes it better than the first two super smash games is that there are more characters and that you can play online. There are a variety of stages that have different obstacles and different terrains. The best thing item that your character can have is the smash ball. Once you break the smash ball you unlock a very powerful move called the final smash. This move depends on which character you choose, for example, Bowser changes into Giga Bowser which doesn’t flinch against any attack.
There are four types of controls: a Wii remote with a numchuck, a way remote, a classic controller, or a GameCube controller. You don’t start off with all the characters, so you have to unlock those characters in order to play as that character.
If you like multiplayer action games, this game is perfect for you. Sadly, the online play lags a lot and sometimes no one goes on the internet to fight.
Can you see why we gave this game an 8.9 game rating now?

The Underland Series is a great book for readers who love a fast-paced, full-of-adventure story. You can find the first three books of the five-book series in the Bell library. Gregor and his baby sister, Boots falls down his family’s sewer grate into an underland world of giant rats, cockroaches, and surprisingly, humans. Gregor finds out that his dad, who was missing above is also in the underland, being held captive by rats. Not only that is the surprising thing but the human underlanders think he’s the overland warrior from an ancient prophecy. The underlanders now are at his disposal, and he set off on a quest with his sister and a few others to find his father and rescue him from the rats. Will Gregor ever find his dad and get out of the underland…
