The 2010-2011 bowl matchups have been announced and there are a few non-BCS games that will spark viewer’s attention. The first one that comes to my mind would be the Las Vegas Bowl on December 22 at 8:00 on ESPN. This game is between Boise State and Utah. Both of these teams didn’t end their season the way they had planned, but both can end it on a high note with a win in Vegas.

Another exciting game would be the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on December 31 at 7:30 on ESPN.The game is between South Carolina and Florida State. Both of these teams lost in their conference championships pretty handily and are looking to end there season strong. Christian Ponder should be ready to play for the Seminoles, so prepare for an exciting game in the Georgia Dome.

A game that catches many people's attention is the Champs Sports Bowl on December 28 at 6:30 on ESPN. This game is between West Virginia and North Carolina State. Many people think that West Virginia should be in the Big East’s BCS bowl game over Connecticut, but they have been put in a bowl game against NC State. NC State is a respected team also. They were one win away from being in the ACC Championship game before losing their season finale against Maryland.

The Insight Bowl is on December 28 at 10:00 on ESPN. This game is between Missouri and Iowa is also a game that I am very excited to watch. Both of these teams have constantly been in big bowl games, and this year is no different. Missouri is ranked 12th in the nation and Iowa has lost their last three games of the season. It looks like Missouri has got the advantage, but don’t count out the Hawkeyes.
