If you are thinking about throwing away your old coat, think again! There are kids in need of everyday items such as jackets, coats, shoes, and pants. These everyday items help children and kids alike by making sure they are properly dressed.

But clothes are not just for being appropriately dressed, but also so that kids do not get hurt or sick. Shoes help make sure that when you step on sharp objects you do not pierce your foot. Imagine this; every item of clothing that you donate helps a child in this world live a better life. So instead of throwing away an old jacket or coat, just donate them and make a child’s life better!

Some donation centers are The Salvation Army and the Bargain Box. To find more donation sites, go to www.soles4souls.com and www.salvationarmyusa.org. There also might be communities around your neighborhood that are donating clothes to children in need. Your church might even accept clothes and all kinds of stores are accepting clothes in the wintertime, such as Wal-Mart.

There are so many ways to donate old clothes and each jacket, shoe, and other clothes help children in need. Please help children need by donating clothes, not throwing them away. We appreciate your help, and continue to donate.
