Recently representatives from the OJHS band participated in the LMEA Solo and Ensemble Festival at Good Hope Middle School. They earned superior ratings from the judges, and they each received a medal that they will wear on their band uniform in high school. The students each picked and worked on their own solos. Those students are Derek Dozier (trombone solo), Katelyn Lirette (trumpet solo), Danielle Crawford (flute solo), Tyler Allen (brass duet with Derek Dozier), and Josh Guy (trumpet solo). We congratulate Mr. Moran and these students, and we are proud to call them fellow Cubs.
