Mrs. McCoy hands out ribbons to her first hour students so they can pledge to be drug free.

Red Ribbon was during the week of October 27-31, 2008.Red ribbon is where students learn about how to say no to drug. and at our school we sign a pledge to be drug free. Also at my school we have drawings, guessing, and a who could wear it best contest. Another thing we do that is has a contest where all the students get clues and try to find a gold medallion. The winner was Sherry Hurd.
We also had a poem contest for each grade. Sarah Meredith for 8th and Amanda Jordon for 7th.  Our who could wear it best contest was daily. Monday was the wear red day. Tuesday was silly sock day. Wednesday was the put a cap on drugs. Thursday was camouflage day. Friday was wear your school colors. Red ribbon week was a great week .
