Junior David Lindahl extends for the ball to continue the volley in the

April 25th match against River Falls. “We’re a young team, but we’re

still improving.” comments Lindahl.
After a rough start to the season,

tennis captains Tom Kaye,

Dan Goden, and Zack Johnson

look optimistically toward the future. “One of our team goals

is to improve and have fun,” said

Tom Kaye.

Opening the season with

three losses, the team needs to

focus ahead and prepare for upcoming

matches. “I think we will get better later in the season,”

said Kaye.

The team presents a united

front as they prepare for upcoming

matches against a variety

of teams. “One of our team

strengths is the fact that we all

get along, and nobody on the

team is excluded.”

With at least nine matches

left in the season, the overall

outcome is still unknown. The

team feels confident about the

results of their matches including

Lourdes, “…they have lost several

good seniors, so we should be

able to win a few games against

them,” said Kaye. Unfortunately,

this match came to an upsetting

shut-out in Lourdes favor.

Overall, the captains feel

that they will do the best that

they can and learn from their

mistakes this season, which

will hopefully leave a lasting

impression on next year’s team

and help them to improve in the

long-run.
