“Student Government is very vital to ESMS;” Says Student Government student Anthony B.It organizes events and contributes to the student life and community a great deal. It’s very important to make school a fun place, and Student Government makes sure everyone is included it happen. Anthony B. (one of the students in Student Government) said, “Student Government makes kids makes kids come first and wants the kids to enjoy school.”

Student Government meets every day during 6th period in Mrs. Quesada’s room and also she is the counselor too. They have meetings because they have to plan and organize big events coming, up, and help decorate the school premises for events such as dances.

Student Government also helps to keep the school clean and make teachers lives easier by assigning boys and girls in Student Government to go to every class and pick up the recycling bins. Student Government has taught students leadership, responsibility and to care for others no matter who they are.

Student Government is very helpful to not only the school but to the community. They are helpful to the community because they are organizing a blood drive. Student Government students should think Student Government is really fun. Members of Student Government sacrifices their own time just to make a majority of students enjoy school (says some students at lunch time).

Student Government students must maintain an A-B average, because it is entrance requirement, and also do Student Government assignments. Especially with this 6th-8th grade schedule, it’s amazing that those students are maintaining such grades. The same Student Government student, Anthony B., had quoted, “If there was no Student Government, I would try to organize it because I want students to like school enjoy it as much as I do.” If ESMS didn’t have Student Government school will be a very boring place and no student would probably set foot on ESMS.
