Class officers spend time raising money and preparing for events near or even far in the class’ future; is it just them or do we have to help?

The presence of these class officers, for every class in the high school, is virtually unknown to most of the students at Patterson Mill High School. The rest of the students know that officers are there, but believe they do absolutely nothing. But these positions are extremely important to the school and what it does and people need to know about them.

The senior class officers, Olivia Caretti, Stash Maczko, Avery Pritchard, Angela Rose, and Leslie Tillman, strive to raise funds and make money for senior events.  Mrs. Walker, one of the senior class advisors along with Mrs. Richardson, discussed some of the different things the senior class officers are doing. She is very aware that people don’t know about the fundraisers.  Seniors are fundraising a lot and are trying to raise enough money for a spectacular prom.  Fundraisers include the selling Smoothie King every Friday, a Yankee Candle fundraiser, selling entertainment books, and seasonal raffles.

Fundraisers isn’t the only thing the officers are doing. Other things they are planning and getting ready for are different events that require fundraising. Events like car washes and silent auctions are going to happen with cooperation but they will also bring in money as well. One big senior event coming up is Prom and all seniors want to have a good one. Therefore seniors need to be working hard on fundraising and getting everything ready for the fun events that will be planned for them.

"The seniors need to raise at least $15,000 dollars for prom," Mrs. Walker commented.

Other classes are also raising funds for different purposes and events that will come in their class’ future as well. All the officers for each class are working hard to make the high school years as fun as possible. Every class and officer is important to the school and the classes themselves. Everyone wants to have a part in their vision of high school and cooperation with these officers and attempts to make the best of the money that the fundraisers bring in.

Class officers have an important purpose. They help guide the class into raising the money they need to have good events and plan so that all the students can have great high school years. The fundraisers around are easy to do and it will help their class officers succeed in their duty to make high school meaningful years for everyone.

Use present tense and don't change the font, other then that not bad. The concept is good and the use of diction is beyond amazing.
