Sonic Menu -

On April 15th a Sonic establishment was opened right next to Patterson Mill High School. For only being in business for about a month, it’s proven to be a new after school hot-spot for those in need of some quality fast food.
When Sonic was originally in the process of being built community members wondered if neighboring food establishments would die out due to the Sonic.
According to Randy Rivera, a McDonald’s employee, both Sonic and the McDonalds offer the same kind of food options so therefore Sonic hasn’t changed the amount of business received at McDonalds. Although, he also noted that McDonalds no longer has an after school rush.
Right after school lets out mobs of students can be seen flocking to the Sonic. Students all around can’t wait to experience the new and unique eating experience it provides.
It offers delightful outdoor tables at which everyone can eat at, as well as a new and innovative way of serving food on roller skates. This is something that no other food establishment around offers.
Another popular thing found at Sonic is their “Happy Hour” from two to four o’clock. During this time drinks are offered for half-price. Later on in the evening after eight o’clock Sonic shakes are half-price.
However, something that numerous students seem to be unaware of is the practice of tipping your server at Sonic. Sonic employees make less than minimum wage and are dependent on tips. Therefore students should keep in mind that it is perceived as rude when one does not appropriately tip their server.
Many community members have embraced the new food establishment and warmly welcomed a new place to eat. Therefore business is booming and doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon. People like to change up where they eat every now and then, and Sonic provides the perfect change.
