Mizzou- The Missouri Tigers have started off 4-0 to spite losing talented players like Chase Daniel. Most analysts had the Tigers only winning four or five games. They have proved most experts wrong and lead by sophomore QB Blaine Gabbert look to be a surprise team in the Big 12. They should score wins over a Baylor, Iowa State, Colorado and Kansas State. The teams they could go down to are Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas and Kansas. 

  

Key Games: vs. Nebraska, vs. Texas, vs. Kansas     

Fan Says: “Beat Kansas”- junior, Carter Wyrsch  

Prediction: 10-3 

 

Kansas- The Kansas Jayhawks have started the season in the Top 25 and are 4-0. They return senior QB Todd Reesing and WR Dezmon Briscoe, which lead a high-powered offense. They however have had to replace six seniors and all their starting linebackers. They should contend for a Big 12 North title and get wins over Iowa State, Colorado, Texas Tech and Kansas State. They will have trouble with Oklahoma, Nebraska, Texas and Missouri. 

 

Key Games: vs. Oklahoma, vs. Nebraska, at Mizzou 

Fan Says: “We’re gonna have two to three losses, but we will be good”- junior, Thomas Brockman 

Prediction: 10-3 

 

Texas- The Texas Longhorns have maintained a preseason ranking of #2 in the country and are 4-0. They are lead by Heisman hopeful QB Colt McCoy and his long time friend and go to target WR Jordan Shipley. If they can maintain their play for the rest of the year they will up in the BCS National Championship. They should pick up wins against Colorado, Missouri, UCF, Baylor, Texas A&M and Kansas. They will be given trouble from Oklahoma State and Oklahoma. 

 

Key Games: vs. Oklahoma, at Oklahoma State 

Fan Says: “After we beat Oklahoma we will run the table and meet Florida in the national championship game”- junior, Roman Aldaiz

Prediction: 12-1   

Oklahoma State- The Oklahoma State Cowboys started the year in the Top 10 in the nation and was a dark horse to win a national championship, but a 45-35 defeat to BCS buster Houston and has put them at 3-1. The Cowboys have to rebound with possibly the best offense in the nation, which is lead by QB Zach Robinson amd WR Dez Bryant. The Cowboys should beat Texas A&M, Missouri, Baylor, Iowa State, Texas Tech and Colorado. They will have trouble Texas and Oklahoma. 

 

Key Games: vs. Texas, at Oklahoma 

Fan Says: “We’ve had a lot of penalties and turnovers and we need to fix that for Big 12 play, we have potential to win the Big 12 title and make a BCS bowl”- senior, Paul Harned 

Prediction: 11-2

Oklahoma- The Oklahoma Sooners had huge hype coming into the season with its 3rd in the nation preseason ranking and raining Hesiman champion QB Sam Bradford. Then they had to take the field and Bradford got injured and the Sooners lost to BCS buster BYU. The Sooners bounced back with two shut out wins but lost at Miami 21-20 and stand at 2-2. If the Sooners can get Bradford back in time they should get back on track and snag wins over Baylor, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Texas A&M and Texas Tech. They will have trouble with their rivalry games against Texas and Oklahoma State.

Fan Says: “BYU was a disappointment especially with Bradford out, but   

if we get him back we can get the ball rolling and wins against Texas   

and Oklahoma State would get us back in the championship picture”-
