The month of October is an exciting time for most students.For some, it means the first of many chilly nights, football games and most importantly, Homecoming.

   The theme this year will be Flashing Lights.

   Flashing Lights will be used as a paparazzi theme and decorations will be focused on Old Hollywood.

   “We’re going to have huge cut outs of famous people like Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe,” said senior, Mckenzie Barbo, Student Council Social Commissioner. “Our colors are red, gold and silver and there will be an actual red carpet.”Student council has worked hard to set the right feel for this theme. Decorations will give the dance a more renowned edge.

   “It’s much more creative and better than Old Hollywood. It’s got a glamorous feel,” said student council sponsor, Leslie Helfrecht.

   Homecoming will be held on Oct. 16,in the main gym. Unlike previous years though, ticket prices have not gone up.  Tickets to the dance will be 10 dollars and 15 dollars including a t-shirt.  As always, students must pay all fines before purchasing their ticket.
