March 29, 2008, what a night, Seniors! The Senior Ball was a night I’m sure none of you will forget. The dazzling dresses, the beautiful hair, the top hats and canes, and cute couples made the Senior Ball a night of glamour. The night was one to remember with some of the seniors arriving in horse drawn carriages, fast cars and limos. Our class advisors, Mrs. Frantel and Mrs. Cherniss put forth hard work and long hours in order to create this enchanted evening. We needed ‘one more night’ to bond and create memories that will stay with us forever.

Steamboat Landing was glowing with the smiles of every senior, and the dance floor was full almost all night. Compared to last year’s music selection during prom, I’m sure you would all agree that this year was much better. The Senior Ball Fun Court was topped with the King and Queen of the night. King and Queen of the 2008 Senior Ball were Devyn Maltman and Hannah Corey. They both looked great, Hannah in her red dress and Devyn in his red suit jacket with matching glasses.

Other fun court winners for the girls were: Best Dress - Cassidy Ewing, Best Shoes - Brie Crooks, Best Dancer - Tina Raskopf, Best Hair - Staphanie Cota and Best Accessories went to Jesse Lambert. For the guys, Best Tux went to Kevin Crowley, Best Accessory - Matt Robarge, Best Dancer - Ryan Brahm, Best Hair - Aaron Landcastle and Most Gentlemanly went to Greg Foster. Brett Havens and Molly Yarger won the judges over for Cutest Couple. The Best Dancing Couple went to Cullen Gill and Larkin Ryan, and finally, Best Matching Couple went to Kris Christensen and Alyssa Legas. Congratulations!

Being together ‘one last time’ with our class mates was a great way to relieve the stress of senior projects and the notorious “senioritis.” We owe a thank you, to all the teachers who chaperoned and to our class advisers who worked to create this magical night. Hope all of you seniors remember Senior Ball 2008 forever, and as our theme song says, ‘thanks for the memories!’
