The Boys’ Varsity Swim Team has worked hard this year and now they are on their way to sectionals. The Leagues competition was on January 29^th at Newark and the 30^th at Canandaigua Academy. The Sectional Diving competition was held at Bath-Haverling on February 6^th, 11^th, and the 13th. The State Meet will be held February 27^th and 27^th in Buffalo, New York. They are inClass C and will be competing against other school such as Livonia, Bath-Haverling, Hornell, Attica, Wayland-Cohocton, Dansville, North Rose-Wolcott, Sodus, Pembroke, Letchworth, Byron-Bergen, Alexander, Oakfield-Alabama, Campbell-Savona, and Avon.

Diver J.J Bero has done such a good job that he is going to be competing with other top divers in the state in the near future. This is a big accomplishment for J.J and for the Marcus Whitman Boy’s Varsity Swim Team. The entire team has done a good job and worked hard this season. Senior Boys’ Varsity Swimmer Brandon Rose said that, "the swim season has been great and the sectionals are going to be amazing." The swimmers will be competing in events such as 200 yard medley relay, a 200 yard freestyle race, 100 yard butterfly, breaststroke and backstroke. Everybody at Marcus Whitman is proud of the Boys’ Varsity Swim Team and wishes them the best of luck.
